Kim's Glass Surf Board Class - July 8

Service Description

This project starts with a laser cut wooden surfboard form with either a sea turtle or palm tree. We'll paint the wood first, then adhere the backside to resin tape. After that, we'll begin to fill the voids with beautiful glass and secure it all with a two-part epoxy resin. This project is really fun and the end result is a colorful, beachy suncatcher. Please note, the surf boards will need to stay in the studio overnight to allow the resin time to fully cure. They will be available to be picked up the next day. The studio is located at 203 SE 78th Street and is above our garage. The steps are to the left of the garage door. Also, please park in our driveway and car pool if possible. The Town of Oak Island won't allow parking along the street during paid parking season. :-(
